Fuud operates as a fully transparent business so here’s how and where your fabrics are made.

Imported Sweatshirt

Our sweatshirt and ribbing is supplied by a German wholeseller and a UK wholeseller.  All our sweatshirt is certified GOTS Organic Cotton.

Our sweatshirt fabrics are manufactured in Turkey and Portugal

Kadeks in Turkey

Kadeks Textile make most of our jerseys and sweatshirt fleece. This is what they say:

The origin of cotton is Aegean region of Turkey (Near İzmir). We always obtain our own cotton from contracted farmers. Our spinning house is in Denizli. Depending on the quality or lead times we may use different knitting and dying houses placed in Denizli, İzmir or İstanbul. All facilities are certificated otherwise it is not possible to give GOTS certificate to the final items (fabric or clothes).
All of the facilities (Farms, Spinning, Knitting or even warehouse where the finished fabrics are controlled and packed) have to carry the responsibilities that certification requires. The certification is made by non-profit certification companies like ICEA or Control union.

Upcycling

A huge part of our collections are upcycled.  This ranges from actual garments to vintage fabrics and vintage deadstock.  We source these from charity shops, online market places such as Ebay, Gumtree etc, and vintage wholesellers.

We take vintage too – if you have blankets, sleeping bags, fabric or vintage you would like to donate/trade or sell please contact us with pictures.

Tees

Our tees are from Teemill who have  created a completely circular business model so the entire process of the tshirts is completely sustainable and wasteless.

Manufacturing

Except from the tees, all of our garments are hand made to order in our Fuud studio by head honcho Louise and dedicated seamstresses.
